GlowKind began with a personal decision, one that changed the way I saw the beauty industry forever.

One afternoon, I made the choice to step away from brands that still relied on animal testing. After researching some of the torture the testing inflicts on animals & with the technology we have today, I truly believe there is no place for animal testing within beauty.

So I did what anyone would do, I opened my laptop and started shopping. 

And that’s when I realised something important, something frustrating. 

Even on the biggest retail sites, it wasn’t clear which brands were certified  cruelty‑free and which weren’t. Some were certified via verified companies, some used vague language, and some made it almost impossible to tell the truth behind the clever marketing.

I wanted a place where I could shop the brands I already loved, all in one space, without having to double check every label or research every product. 

 

That place didn’t exist.

So, I created GlowKind, a place where the verified cruelty‑free brands get the spotlight they deserve, clearly set apart from the ones that haven’t met the mark yet, all ready to shop in one straight to the point, ethical destination.

We monitor certifications continuously, and when a brand becomes newly certified, GlowKind aims to be one of the first retailers to welcome them!
